He can trace piping, pipe-making and reed-making in his family back at least six generations.Change that quick. Callan me arse, too. He'd be most offended if the only mention of his name in cyberspace was incorrect! BTW according to wikipedia, " The opposite of an expert is generally known as a layperson, while someone who occupies a middle grade of understanding is generally known as a technician and often employed to assist experts" I'm a technician! I'm not joking! ask Joe Cody.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31082845.post-85009651988284099992007-03-09T10:59:00.000+00:002007-03-09T10:59:00.000+00:00Stand corrected Anonymous. I knew Giz when I was in college and he was president of the USI. We actually dated although I was in a different part of the country. I didn't think he was quite the ladies man you mentioned but that was 1984/85 and you were talking about the following year when I was long gone from Ireland. I laughed about him sending his picture to colleges! I don't remember that bit. Interesting to see his picture and hear he's doing so well! I wouldn't have recognized him at all. All the pictures I have of him from those days, he had long hair, and had usually had a few beforehand. Last time I talked to him was in about 87 and he was in New York for a while, I was in Chicago. It's so fun to hear how well he's done, and that was quite a trip down memory lane. If you should run into him again, tell him Siobhan said hi! I'll have to read your blog more often. I haven't been back to Ireland since I left, now 21 years ago, but Paddy's Day is coming up so my Irish is out in full force.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
